The motives behind green IT practices include reducing the use of hazardous materials, maximizing energy efficiency during the product's lifetime and promoting the biodegradability of unused and outdated products. Green IT also reduces the cost to the customer of removing and disposing of cardboard, plastic, styrofoam and other packing materials.

Vanguard’s Go-Green Service takes ownership once all assets are shipped to us. All packaging is removed by us and managed by us before the assets are delivered to you. We also handle the issues surrounding older assets that are being replaced in the new IT Lifecycle, managing technology waste using secure ecofriendly methods.
