PC Deployment Technician
Reports to: Project Manager
Position Summary:
The PC Deployment Technician is responsible for performing and overseeing a wide variety of warehouse, inventory, delivery, and technical support duties as a key member of our lifecycle services team. Position is primarily responsible for the performance of all activities related to the lifecycle deployments including warehouse, inventory, asset tracking, prep/staging/surplus, and product shipment/delivery. Position requires a process-driven mentality, strong work ethic, willingness to adapt and overcome unforeseen obstacles, positive attitude, team player mindset, and ability perform tasks accurately in a fast-paced. The position reports directly to the Project Manager and works in conjunction with our entire team to complete project services as directed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide friendly, responsive, high-quality services to all customers.
Maintain professional appearance and organization of warehouse, production, vehicles, and work areas.
Perform logistics and lifecycle services related tasks such as inventory, loading/unloading trucks/vans, deliveries, deployment/installation/removal of equipment, surplus, paperwork, and other related activities.
Organize inventory and client devices based on status, type, and deployment schedule to support efficient prep/staging of devices for deployment.
Prep/stage equipment for shipment/delivery ensuring accurate counts, labeling, packaging, and paperwork standards are maintained.
Accurately and efficiently deliver, install, and remove equipment at client sites as directed by project leads and project managers.
Performance of all work must adhere to established policies, procedures, and standards.

Maintain accurate tracking of inventory status, movement, and activities in Vanguard’s systems/databases.
Assist other team members as needed to balance workloads and meet project deadlines.
Qualifications and Requirements:
2-3 years related experience with High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Valid Wisconsin Driver’s license with a clean driving record. Subject to DMV and background checks.
Physical ability to carry up to 25-50lbs repeatedly, stand, bend, kneel, and walk the entire workday.
Experience and demonstrated aptitude for space planning, organization, and inventory movement.
Experience with MS Windows and MS Office, including: Outlook email, Excel, Word, Web browsers, etc.
Experience using serialized barcode scanning data entry systems.
Extreme attention to detail, specifically accuracy of inventory and documentation.
Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, and workflow skills.
Ability to function and perform assigned duties with limited direct supervision.
Business-professional verbal and written communication skills.
Work Schedule and Travel:
The work schedule for this position varies based on client project schedules and requires periodic overnight travel and extended work hours. The position typically works 40 hours per week with 25-50%+ of hours outside normal business hours. Estimated travel is typically 15-25% but may require 50-75%. Normal business hours are 8am-5pm Mon-Fri.
