CompURent - How To Rent
At CompURent, we take the following steps to ensure your rental or event occurs without problem. If you are the event organizer, you have enough other things to worry about, CompURent is here to be your partner so you don’t have to worry about the technology aspect of your rental.
Order Received
Once your order is received at CompURent, the sales team reviews it with a rental coordinator. Our rental coordinator is a technical resource that works with the sales team to make sure there is a complete understanding of the rental requirements.
The Rental Coordinator will then reach out to the customer to review the rental needs and any other possible requirements that may have been overlooked. Our Rental Coordinators are technical resources, not just delivery drivers. They bring years of experience and that allows them to raise and/or address issues many people
don’t think of.
Preparation
If your rental needs custom images applied to laptops, our Rental Coordinator will provide you a machine to setup the way you would like it. We can then replicate that image to all other machines in the rental. This reduces the setup time for you the customer and provides you with a consistent setup for every piece of equipment. Once you provide us the initial machine, we will prepare a second one for you to test, to ensure proper operation of everything.
If needed, CompURent can provide on-site technical support for your event. Since our staff is trained and certified PC Hardware technicians with extensive PC Support backgrounds, we would provide you with someone that can actually help out in many situations. Please ask your salesperson for more details of this offering.
Quality Control
All equipment is physically cleaned. If it is desktops, laptops or tablets all software will be reset to the factory defaults unless you have requested an exact image or custom software in which case that will be loaded and tested. Once your equipment is prepped to the CompURent Quality Standard it will be shipped or delivered on to your required destination.
Delivery & Backup
When the Rental Coordinator delivers your equipment, they can set it up for you (or we can drop it off if you prefer to do your own setup). During this setup, again everything is tested for proper functionality and complete operation of any systems/printers/networking, etc. They bring a long an “Emergency Kit” that has extra supplies that may be need such as adapters, cords, power strips, etc. We work hard to be prepared for any situation and avoid surprises.
When the equipment is dropped off, our team will also verify pickup date and time.
When the equipment is picked up, all equipment is inventoried and a quick visual inspection is performed. A more thorough operational inspection is performed at our facilities in the event of any damages. We take pictures of the equipment before the rental to ensure we are not holding customers responsible for any damage they did not cause.
